Story
Hi there!
We are making a difference and doing another marathon walk, this time for 6 days along the Larapinta Trail in Central Australian Desert 13th - 20th May 2021 for a cause that's close to our hearts - Reach.
Reach supports young people to get the most out of life. They aim to improve the well-being of young people so they can be healthy and resilient to meet life's challenges and fulfil their potential.
One teenage suicide is too many and I've attended Reach functions alongside 400+ teenagers and the Reach model - it has an impact because its delivered to teenage kids by their slightly older peers .
Please support my son Mitchell and my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Reach my charity of choice as they continue their important work with teenage school children in preventing teenage suicide while delivering on it’s mission to help create a generation of confident, self aware and passionate young people.
Thanks so much for your support!
The Reach Foundation
Reach is an independent, for-purpose organisation, established in 1994 by Jim Stynes OAM and Australian film director, Paul Currie.
Reach encourages young people, no matter what their circumstances, to believe they can achieve.
Each year, 50,000 young people experience Reach. Independent research has found Reach’s youth-led workshops can improve the wellbeing of young people by significantly enhancing their feelings of meaning and engagement. www.reach.org.au
